In April of 2024, an EF4 tornado struck the suburbs of Omaha, NE The tornado travelled from Elkhorn into Bennington.
In a small development in Bennington, the tornado damaged homes and destroyed a small greenhouse attached to an outbuilding. The contractor in charge of repairing the home on this property contacted Quality Structures to rebuild the greenhouse. Due to the non-standard size, and the need to match the profile of the existing building, Quality Structures built the greenhouse from scratch, pre-fabricating and welding the walls and trusses off-site. The roof is sheeted in polycarbonate while the sidewalls are sheeted in twin-wall acrylic panels for increased light transmission. Finishing off the build is a beautiful aluminum double hung door from HC Quality Doors
