University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire

University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire’s Science and Health Sciences Building includes high-performance research greenhouses designed and manufactured by Albert J. Lauer, a premier manufacturer of all-aluminum institutional and research greenhouses. The structures sit on the rooftop of this new campus research facility in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, approximately 100 feet above grade.

We spent November and December on the roof with Lauer’s crew — about a month of structural erection and roof glazing through snow, sub-zero temperatures, and windy winter conditions.

It was a privilege to support Albert J. Lauer on this project and to help deliver greenhouses that will serve teaching and research at UW–Eau Claire.
